North Carolina has become the third state to stop funding the killing of babies.  The state legislature has overridden pro-abortion Gov. Bev Perdue’s recent budget veto that would have allowed state-funded abortions to continue. Congratulations to pro-lifers in North Carolina and may Iowa soon follow their example.

Earlier this spring the Iowa Senate passed what they claim to be a late-term abortion bill. In reality their bill, SF 534, was designed to provide cover for Sen. Mike Gronstal. Senator Gronstal’s district is in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where “Dr.” Carhart has pledged to open a late-term abortion clinic.
